Sanj Wijesinghe, Principal Solicitor
Sanj is an accomplished Solicitor admitted to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales, embodying excellence in the practice of law.
With extensive experience across all jurisdictions of the courts in New South Wales, including the Local Court, District Court, Court of Appeal, Court of Criminal Appeal, Supreme Court, Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court, and the High Court, Sanj is a seasoned advocate with over 20 years of expertise in handling complex and appellate matters. His courtroom prowess is renowned, ensuring the highest level of representation for his clients.
Throughout his career, Sanj has held significant positions of responsibility and leadership, including senior management roles within the New South Wales State Government. He has also served as an esteemed International Legal Counsel for prominent energy companies, where he successfully executed large-scale Climate Change Projects, International Petroleum Contracts, and Commodity (Iron Ore, coal) Contracts. His invaluable contributions in these capacities have earned him an esteemed reputation within the legal and corporate sectors. As a dedicated social entrepreneur, he has successfully secured over €450,000,000.00 in funding, driving positive change for disadvantaged communities and addressing the pressing global challenge of climate change.
Beyond his legal practice, Sanj is a passionate and dedicated scholarly teaching fellow at Macquarie University Law School. He imparts his vast knowledge and expertise to both post-graduate and undergraduate students, offering insights into various areas of law, including Public International Law, Advanced International Law, Criminal Law, Evidence Law, Torts Law, Competition and Consumer Law, and International Trade & Commerce Law. Sanj holds an impressive array of qualifications, including a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Business, and a Master of International Trade & Commerce Law. He further pursued his academic pursuits in a LLM Course, specialising in European Union Law, International Investment Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Comparative Climate Law ( Cambridge University). As an alumnus of Sydney University and a Visiting Scholar of Cambridge University (MST admission 2011) and Oxford University (MBA Admission 2009), Sanj has harnessed the knowledge and expertise from these esteemed institutions, enabling him to provide exceptional legal services and strategic guidance to his clients.

Udara is our Team Leader in the Family Law Practice. She is an Attorney-At-Law. She graduated from the reputed Sri Lanka Law College and further qualified in Master of Laws from the prestigious Cardiff Metropolitan University
